J and S Recycling will pay you cash for all CRV (California Redemption Value) containers 
including glass and plastic bottles and aluminum cans. We are also happy to accept any and all non CRV bottles and cans. At this point you may be wondering exactly what CRV is, so let us break it down for you.
The California Beverage Container Recycling and Litter Reduction Act, which originated in 1986, established the California Redemption Value, or CRV, which was added to the price of recyclable drink containers to encourage people to recycle. The amount is currently ten cents for 24 ounces or more, and five cents for under 24 ounces. When you take your bottles and cans to recycling centers such as ours you will be reimbursed that money as a California Refund Value (also CRV).
